Think Under Constraint.
Make useful decisions with limited time, information, and resources.
CORSET Prep is a developmental system that prepares students for reality before reality becomes their teacher helping them develop the judgment, resilience, communication, and practical capability required for whatever comes after school.
A developmental system for building useful capability under real conditions.
Students may complete school while still depending on constant prompting, avoiding difficult decisions, struggling to use feedback, or lacking evidence of what they can actually do.
CORSET Prep gives students structured opportunities to practice judgment, follow-through, revision, cooperation, and responsible recovery before those capabilities are tested in higher-stakes environments.
Build capability before the consequences of underdevelopment become emergencies.
CORSET Prep helps students become more capable of entering and navigating the path that fits their goals.
Make useful decisions with limited time, information, and resources.
Turn intention into action without constant external prompting.
Make ideas, decisions, expectations, and needs easier to understand.
Identify what needs to change and apply feedback to the work.
Locate causes, correct structure, and improve rather than defend.
Coordinate responsibly, navigate disagreement, and contribute.
Allocate time, attention, money, tools, and relationships wisely.
Acknowledge failure, repair what can be repaired, and continue.
CORSET Prep is a three-stage developmental system. The Foundry (any one year, Grades 7–9), The Catalyst (Grade 10), and CORSET Prep Capstone (Grade 11 or 12) can function as a complete sequence or CORSET Prep Capstone can be entered as a stand-alone program for students and young people joining the system later.
Builds resilience by teaching students to work within limits, make tradeoffs, adjust assumptions, and act intelligently under constraint.
Explore Video →Builds discernment through increasingly complex decisions, cooperation, resource awareness, and responsibility for outcomes.
Explore Video →Builds evidence by requiring students to observe, execute, receive feedback, revise, and demonstrate capability in applied settings. Also available as a stand-alone entry point for students and young people who are joining the CORSET Prep system for the first time in Grades 11 or 12.
Explore Video →Students are evaluated not only on what they understand, but on what they do with that understanding.
Understand the task, conditions, audience, and constraints.
Make decisions and produce work that can be evaluated.
Use clear information about behavior, choices, and results.
Correct the structure instead of defending the first attempt.
Create a record of capability that can travel beyond CORSET Prep.
CORSET Prep captures operational capability over time not just confidence, completion, or intention.
Whether commitments become completed work.
How students allocate attention when everything cannot happen at once.
Whether work contributes meaningfully to the task or team.
How students respond to direction, information, and feedback.
Whether students can improve work instead of merely explain it.
How effectively students operate when conditions become less clear.
CORSET Prep works with the institutions and organizations that help shape what students encounter after school. This includes partnerships for the full developmental system or for the CORSET Prep Capstone as a stand-alone program.
Explore implementation through a school, district, classroom, advisory program, or broader educational initiative.
Explore Implementation →Collaborate through youth programs, mentoring, nonprofits, and community-based student support.
Discuss a Partnership →Connect students with mentorship, work-based learning, internships, and applied opportunities.
Create Opportunity Pathways →Help fund access, implementation, pilots, evaluation, curriculum, infrastructure, and expansion.
Discuss Sponsorship →Start a conversation about how CORSET Prep can help students build the capability and evidence required to move into what comes next.
